College Game Day: “Sis Boom Bah!”

No matter where you go in America, collegiate athletics brings an energy and enthusiasm unlike anything in sports. From marching bands and mascots to the unbridled root-root-rooting of students and alumni, the college experience is without parallel. Using lacrosse, basketball, soccer and football as its anchor collegiate sports, the Museum interprets America’s college game day experience through the history and excitement of area universities. Visitors enter the exhibit just as they would any big-time collegiate athletic contest. As they enjoy the riveting sounds and sites of a college marching band, visitors pause for a tailgate party. Through compelling photo murals and a barrage of interactive sights and sounds, they transform into fellow fans and parade to the big game.
