Q. Where is the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum?
A. The Babe Ruth Birthplace is located just two blocks east of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard at 216 Emory Street. It is conveniently located two (2) blocks from Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Convention Center, two major interstates (83 and 95), Baltimore’s famed Inner Harbor, and several downtown attractions.
Q. Where can I park?
A. There is metered parking on Pratt Street, Portland Street, and Emory Street.
Q. Can I pre-purchase tickets online?
A. No need! Tickets can be purchased on the same day at the museum’s admission counter.

Q. How much time can I expect to spend at your museum?
A. We recommend 45 minutes to 1 hour for your visit.
Q. How much is museum admission?
A. $15 for adults, $13 for seniors/military, $7 for kids (ages 5-16). Museum members are always free! Click here to learn more about becoming a museum member.
Q. I’m a Birdland Member, do I get a discount?
A. You sure do! Show your Birdland Membership lanyard and credentials for free admission! (One free admission per member)
Q. Do you have a tour guide or is the museum self-guided?
A. The museum is intended to be self-guided. We do not have a full-time docent, but our staff is happy to answer your questions to the best of their ability! Guided tours can be arranged for groups but must be scheduled ahead of time.
Q. Is the museum handicap accessible?
A. It sure is! Our 2015 renovation included an elevator – making our facilities fully ADA compliant. To use our elevator, enter at the Dover Street entrance. Need assistance? Call 410-727-1539 x 3014.
