50th Anniversary Kick-off Gala

$500On January 29th, the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation will kick-off its 50th year with a gala celebration held at Howard County’s 18th and 21st restaurant. We are delighted to share that the venue and catering for the gala have been generously donated by the owner. As a result, every dollar raised will go directly to supporting our foundation’s mission, anniversary exhibits, and events.
You are cordially invited to join us for an unforgettable evening – a celebration of all we have accomplished in 50 years and a chance to envision an inspiring future. The evening will feature rare artifacts, VIPs who represent the museum’s mission, and a sumptuous multi-course meal with drink pairings. 18th and 21st is themed after a prohibition-era supper club and will provide an elegant backdrop for the celebration of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation’s 50th year.
While individual tickets are priced at $500, 100% of the proceeds will support the museum. When you purchase tickets or a sponsorship, you are making an investment in the success of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation for years to come. Proceeds from this event will fund an Orioles 70th Anniversary exhibit, aid in the creation of a new feature film to be shown in the museum’s theater, allow us to upgrade exhibits and make infrastructure improvements, and continue our mission of preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting the historic legacy of all Maryland sports.
