The Locker Room hosts some of the Museum’s most engaging and stimulating activities. Whether tour visitors are young or simply “young at heart,” this room offers them several opportunities to get involved and have fun.
Museum staff will be on hand to help you transform yourself into a college or professional athlete by trying on one of our many authentic uniforms. Stand on the 2004 Orioles’ on-deck circle and check your stance against the Orioles and Ravens players outlined on the facing mirror.
Compare the field shapes and dimensions of your favorite sports, as well as positions of players on the fields or courts. See if you can match the ball to the implement you’d use to hit it in each of eight sports. As you leave the room, take note of the athletes who have left their autographs and don’t forget to leave yours, too!
